Gonorrhea is an STD caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

Symptoms can appear 2-10 days after infection, though many people (especially women) are asymptomatic.

If symptomatic, women may have increased vaginal discharge, painful urination, bleeding between periods or abdominal pain.

Men may have burning during urination, yellow/white/green discharge from the penis, and occasionally painful/swollen testicles.

If infection is found, treatment will be sent to the pharmacy you tell the provider.

The test will be conducted by a urine sample.
